CONASTA 70 Wine Tour

This CONASTA we are heading for the beautiful Clare Valley to have a long, lingering, lunch at Reillys with Julie and Justin Ardill our wine sponsors for this CONASTA. Last Adelaide CONASTA we indulged in barrels at Bremerton, the previous was the famous Barossa Valley, and the CONASTA before that it was the historic Penfolds Magill Estate and lunch with Scott Collett at Woodstock in McLaren Vale.
Of course, we will visit the Reillys winery in Auburn. There Justin will show us that it is not only sports people who talk about the ‘1 percenters’. You will taste wines before and after 1% has been added and learn the science of blending to get that wine profile ’just right’.
Having learnt the art of blending we will lunch in the historic cellar door in Mintaro and there the challenge for your olfactory senses is to find which wine goes best with the local fresh produce.
There will be a chance to order some wine at ‘mates’ rates to ship home before we head back to Adelaide (returning approximately 5.00pm).
The Clare Valley is a little bit further than the other wine regions we have visited in the past, so a luxury coach has been ordered to make the trip very comfortable and a fitting end to another great conference in Adelaide.
